Danny Miles

Born and raised the small vineyard town of Santa Ynez, Danny Miles “is” Santa Barbara County. Like the grapes that grew next to his boyhood home, Danny’s career in the wine business has intertwined across the rugged back roads of the region. Starting first as a “cellar rat” at the famed Kahn Winery with his long-time friend Nic Donahue of Alchemy Wine Productions, Danny learned the nuts and bolts and passion for making wine. He then sunk his teeth into the production, harvest and vineyard work at Carr Vineyards, before taking the lead at Oreana Winery where he strives to produce balanced wines that will age and become more complex with
time, but wines that can also be enjoyed in their youth as well.
